In 2025, the BLCS began a Community Buying Group.  This is an opportunity for folks to come together to save, share and build community!

A Community Buying Group is a group of people who pool their resources to purchase goods in bulk (often at a lower cost) and source specialty products.  Our Group is open to everyone so JOIN US!

Through our buying group, we can order from reputable suppliers for food products available in larger quantities.  The benefits of this program would be having products delivered right to the BLCS for distribution saving $$, creating community and supporting food security.

 

The BLCS would function simply as the distribution centre; we would not be carrying these foods in the store in any large quantities.   Joining is easy and does not come with any obligations and/or commitments.
